THE QUILT Block Challenge Kit All proceeds are in support of THE QUILT: A Breast Cancer Support Project. These kits were assembled by one of our super volunteers, Elva. Completed blocks received from these kits will be assembled by volunteers into several quilt tops which will be used to raise additional funds for THE QUILT. Marathons .. Auctions ... Raffles The quilt that keeps on giving!
Four different fabrics (shown left) were chosen for the project from the eleven coordinating fabrics in Northcott’s Wild Iris Quest for a Cure fabric line. Each kit contains two of the chosen fabrics. Block Challenge Kits are available for purchase at the Stratford Exhibition for $10.00 per kit plus taxes and shipping, by calling THE QUILT (519) 272-2588 using Visa or MasterCard or by mail order. To order your copy by mail, please send your request stating the number of kits you would like, the mailing address and include a cheque or money order in the amount of $10.00 per copy plus 8% PST (Ontario residents only) plus 7% GST plus $1.00 shipping per kit. Quilt tops made from the 2004 blocks will be used during the annual Tango Quilting Marathon in Stratford and Northcott’s 30 Hour Quilt Marathons taking place across Canada in 2005. These two quilts competed by groups who purchased block kits in 2004 have been included in the 2005 auction
