In 2006, the fifth Tango Quilting Marathon raised over $14,000.00 for THE QUILT. Join the sixth Annual Tango Quilting Marathon to top that incredible achievement.

Quilting will take place in 3-hour time blocks. For each block there is room for a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 16 men and women quilting together in a traditional quilting bee.

Could you to volunteer your time, either as a team or as individuals? All levels of experience, from beginner to expert are welcome.

The more pledges you collect, the more physical and emotional support we can provide to cancer survivors.

As a charitable organization we can issue tax receipts for pledges of $25 or more. Please make sure you mark the tax receipt column on your registration form with a yes or no.

Each person is asked to raise a minimum of $100.00. If you would prefer not to collect pledges, simply pay the $10.00 registration fee and make a $100.00 donation to THE QUILT, in turn we will issue a tax receipt to you for $100.00.

Your participation will be rewarded with prizes given during each time slot and a Grand Prize for the top fundraiser. Raise $100 in pledges and you earn a Marathon T-Shirt & Goody Bag. In addition to your free season’s pass to THE QUILT Project Exhibition, you will be fueled with endless coffee and treats provided by our sponsor, Tango Cafe & Grill and maybe even a wee massage to ease those tired muscles.
